The Budo Board
The Budo Board started off as my idea to create a small discussion board for our club to discuss our training and to keep in contact with each other, however I believe it is beneficial to us and to others to open the board up to anyone who wishes to contribute, this way there will be much more input and insight into various viewpoints and it can be a better learning resource. When creating the forum I was not aware of the other already successful martial arts forums out there (if I was I probably would of kept it a private forum), I only found out about these when doing a Google search to see if TBB forum came up (which it didn’t :lol: ). My aim is to take nothing away from these other forums not that I could due to the scale and success of them, however that said I am still going to keep The Budo Board as an open martial arts forum, my reasons being 1) Its already made and took me a while :evil: and 2) Most of the other forums are US dominated or focus on one type of martial art etc The Budo Board is a UK based forum (however international members are more than welcome) discussing the traditional Budo martial arts in modern times. The Budo Board aims to help build connections within the UK martial arts sector and beyond to help organise and promote seminars and events. I hope the forum can offer a fresh alternative Budo martial arts forum for anyone willing to join. The Budo Board is now part of www.budoonline.co.uk, an online martial arts resource and is open to anyone who wishes to contribute. Also if you have a martial arts article that you would like to see published on Budo Online then just simply email it to us at info@budoonline.co.uk and we will review it and hopefully upload it for you to share.
