Sad News Nishiyama Passing
Unfortunately world renowned karate master Hidetaka Nishiyama, founder of ITKF and JKIA, 9th dan passed away on the 8th Nov 2008 at the age of 80. Sensei Nishiyama has been involved with karate since its earliest development in Japan in which he was one of the most respected instructors. His book; Karate The Art Of Empty Hand Fighting, written in 1960 is an example of his dedication and precise expertise and enthusiasm for karate-do, he will be sadly missed by many karateka.
