Sacrificing position for submissions
From mount do you prefer to go for a ground and pound approach or go for the submission (joint manipulation) which could lead to loss of position? Is it best to strike and wait for a situation to present itself or should you aim for/try and make the submission? Obviously this depends on your/opponents submission skill level, but just wondering what you think about this and what you prefer to do. Is their a favoured submission you usually try to make present itself from mount, or would you primarily go for the ground and pound into stopage/submission?
