Last Man Standing (new series)
The challenge is back on and six new intrepid athletes will once again travel the world to compete against the most remote tribes on earth at their own sports. First stop... Southern Ethiopia and one of the most dangerous and intimidating sports on the planet Suri Stick Fighting. http://www.bbc.co.uk/lastmanstanding/ I quite enjoyed this show last time and am looking forward to the new series. Tue BBC3 9.00. Interesting to see how the modern western athletes skills match up with the experience of the various old traditional tribes skills, it's also good to see who will win out of the competitors, will Wole's huge strength advantage make him the overall winner or will the other atributes of the other athletes make them victorious. Who do you predict will win (be the last man standing)?

Yeah its a pretty good show i reckon Wole will win overall due to his 'huge' strength advantage although Eds doing well at the moment and think Ed will win this week too as it's another running event i think isn't it? My money's on Wole to win overall though!

Wole is huge aint he, but he's also got quite good endurance too. Who won yesterday I missed it? Hopefully can catch the repeat sometime. I think Ed will win overall.

Managed to watch it, Murray got his first win, martial arts next week looks like a phillipine style of teakwondo or something?

Did anyone see the la-*test*-('") episode Sikaran Kick-Fighting in the Philippines? I never like to put a martial art/artists down especially without ever trying it first but the tribes 'martial arts' skill in this episode was very poor IMO, the techniques looked awful, it is a kicking sport yet none of the so called 'black belts' could even deliver a decent kick. Very disappointing I found it hard to watch to be honest  no wonder Wole beat them all with only one weeks training and he could hardly kick above waist height. I'ts a shame as there are so many good martial arts that come from the Philippines, mind you most of them would be hard to do a safe competion for TV plus they couldn't really do Escrima or anything as they have already done stick fighting, but this has been the only episode that I was very un-impressed with, at least next week's looks more challenging as well as funny. Another win for Wole though, Merco might be right.

The last episode Kushti wrestling in India was more like it, shame JJ injured his shoulder though I wanted to see how he would do with his background in submission wrestling as he didn't seem to do very well in one of the early episodes that involved wrestling, he looked favourite to win this one though until he got injured. Ed did well to win it, looks like my prediction may be correct

Told you Wole would win! :P :P :P

Yeah yeah, anyway technically Ed and Wole had the same amount of events won at the end but they decided to count the last event as 2 wins  Nah he did deserve to win that last event, great determination and just goes to show a huge guy like Wole can still have great endurance too.
