hello everyone, my name is Andy. I'm 48 years old and have been 'into' the martial arts since I was a kid. Have been studying GOJU RYU KARATE-DO since 1979 and am curantly graded 5 th Dan-andy.m

I'm predominately a Shotokan practitioner but have always liked Goju, seems to be a bit more 'closer' than most Shotokan styles, do you practise much kata bunkai? It is a practise that we have ALWAYS maintained. I'm a student of Sensei Tony Christian . I don't teach myself and am a member of the B.K.A.- andy :)

Glad to hear it, there's many karate clubs today that just go through the motions and only train to pass gradings, I've never trained under Sensei Tony Christian but am aware he is very respected in the UK.
