Hi everyone, I am part of the admin for this forum, however I am fairly new to all of this so i'm still learning as I go along :shock: I hope you find this forum a useful learning resource and that together we can build it up full to the brim with martial arts information. My background; my name is Martin Hepworth, I predominately train in Shotokan karate in Kancho Kanazawas association. I have trained in Shotokan for 19 years however have also been training in other martial arts on and off including Kickboxing, Aikido, Daito-ryu and RBSD. I am certainly no expert in martial arts and don't claim to hold the answers to all your questions, this forum is a learning resource for me as much as it is for anyone else. As the forum expands there will no doubt be many other people who will give a better insight to the various ma discussions and topics, I will also be communicating with my respected instructors in traditional karate, aikijutsu, and reality based self defence systems about some of the subjects, and hopefully at one stage convincing them and others to join :lol: We intend to keep the forum moderated and up to date but hope at the same time to provide freedom and honesty, and hope that The Budo Board will become an online community and meeting place where people can arrange local and national seminars and events and share knowledge on the vast topics of the martial arts. I look forward to meeting you all and discussing anything and everything to do with martial arts
