Fists vs open hands
Do you prefer to strike with fists or open hands?

Open hands to certain targets such as eyes and throught, but if hitting a general target i.e. face i always use fists, (take more conditioning) but do more damage :twisted:

Open palm strikes all the way, much easier on your hands but very effective (when done properly) on the opponent, can create shock and yes they can produce knockouts by accelerating the head so that the brain movement is caused and KO produced. Easy and fast to teach and also from a law point of view they don't look as aggressive and any on lookers may describe it as a hard push or slap so you may stand better if ever get involved in a law suit :) they also feel more natural and easier to execute in a high stress fight or flight situation imo can be used effectively from a 'fence' type of guard position.
